This policy covers how we handle information you share through this website, our quote forms, and any direct contact you have with one of our agents.

What we collect

Three buckets of information come through:

What you give us. When you request a quote, sign up for updates, or contact us, we ask for things like your name, date of birth, zip code, phone number, and email. If you go on to apply for coverage, carriers may ask for more detail through their own intake forms.

What your browser sends. Our hosting and analytics tools log basic request data: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, timestamps, and the site that referred you (if any).

What carriers return. Once you ask us to quote coverage, insurance carriers may send back quote estimates, underwriting messages, and policy details tied to your application.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Contact you about a quote you requested.
• Match you with a licensed Patriot agent who works in your state.
• Submit quote requests to carriers at your direction.
• Respond to questions you send us.
• Send policy updates if you become a customer.
• Keep the site running, fix bugs, and improve what's on it.
• Meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations as a licensed agency.

Who we share with, and why

Insurance carriers. When you ask for a quote, we pass relevant details to carriers so they can return a price. Each carrier has its own privacy policy covering what happens to your information once it reaches them.

Licensed agents in our network. A Patriot agent licensed in your state may reach out about your quote.

Service providers. Our hosting, email, and analytics vendors process data on our behalf under contract. They are restricted to the work we hire them for and cannot use the information for their own purposes.

Government, law enforcement, or courts. If we receive a valid subpoena, court order, or regulator request, we comply.

Business transfer. If Patriot is ever acquired or merges with another company, customer information may transfer as part of the deal. If that happens, we will post a notice here.

We do not sell your information. If that ever changes, we will update this page and notify affected users first.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies to keep the site working and to understand how people find and use it. Essential cookies handle things like remembering that you clicked past a banner. Analytics cookies help us see which pages are slow, which are confusing, and which are doing their job.

You can turn off non-essential cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers also honor a Global Privacy Control signal, which we treat as an opt-out of sale or sharing under state privacy laws where that applies.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas have similar rights under their state laws. Our services are directed at US residents, and information submitted through this site may be processed in the United States.

How we protect your information

Information moves between you and our site over TLS-encrypted connections. Our systems sit behind access controls, and we limit who on our team can see customer records to what the job requires.

No online service is perfectly secure. If we ever have a breach that affects you, we notify you on the timeline state and federal law require.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it to provide our services and as long as state and federal recordkeeping rules require for licensed insurance agencies. For customers, that is typically several years after a policy ends.

Specific retention windows by data type are under review and will be listed here once finalized.

Children

This site is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you are a parent and believe your child sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the "Last updated" date at the top. If the update is significant, we post a notice on the homepage or, for existing customers, email you directly.
